Description
We’re looking for a seasoned and dynamic Field Marketing & Events Manager to lead end-to-end event execution and regional campaign strategy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. In this role, you’ll engage the AI community, build relationships with key technical stakeholders, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful, results-driven experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional event and campaign strategies, including decision-making processes and onsite event logistics.
- Manage end-to-end execution of events and meetups, from planning and logistics to budgeting and post-event analysis - with a focus on engaging the AI community. Track event success, ROI, and contribution to the sales pipeline.
- Design and implement field marketing initiatives tailored to the developer audience, such as hackathons, tech talks, and developer meetups.
- Plan and execute customer executive engagement strategies, including sporting events, virtual sessions, and executive seminars.
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale, in-person events for the developer community, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external tech industry leaders.
- Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, developers, and technical decision-makers to enhance event content and reach.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Sales, Partnerships, Product, Marketing, and Operations to ensure successful event execution.
- Work closely with both domestic and international teams across global regions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing field marketing strategies targeted at the developers community within a tech, dev, or AI company.
- Deep familiarity with developer tools, platforms, and communities is essential.
- 3+ years of experience at developer platform companies such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Datadog, Sumo Logic, or similar.
- Strong understanding of the developer ecosystem, with the ability to identify emerging trends and engagement opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across time zones and communication platforms.
- Outstanding project and time management abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for in-person event execution.
- Exceptional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
